[Men's Basketball] Threshers Take (13) Southwestern Down to the Wire in Offensive Shootout

NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel men's basketball team hosted the Southwestern Moundbuilders last night in Thresher Gym. The Moundbuilders came into the game with an unblemished record of 8-0, and are currently ranked #13 in the NAIA Division II. The Threshers proved to match up well with Southwestern last season, and last night about capped off what would have been the program's biggest upset in quite some time. Terrell Marshall (SO/Tulsa, Okla.) led Bethel with a career-high 18 points, and helped Bethel stay in the game with their high-octane opponents. Bethel didn't have quite enough in their tank to pull it off, and fell 93-87.
