What a kick!
A week after she was crowned homecoming queen, Claire Jeffress saved her high school football team with this kick:

What a kick!
Jeffress is a senior at Dawson High School in Texas, where she is the team’s excellent kicker. And she proved it again with that kick — a 30-yarder that won a game versus rival Pearland High School, according to the Houston Chronicle.
The kick put the team ahead 38-35 with just over a minute to go, but the pressure didn’t phase Jeffress.
"I just wanted to do what I've always done and not think of it as any big deal," she told the Chronicle. "My team had faith in me, and they were going to block for me, and the snap and the hold were going to be good, so I just had to do my job."
Very impressive — between that and finding out you’re homecoming queen, it’s hard to imagine having a better week than this!
