You don’t see this every day ...

LumberKings batter Nick Zammarelli III fouled the ball away, at which point you can hear a loud “thunk,” before it returns into frame and smacks him on the helmet. Zammarelli happened to hit the ball at the perfect angle, causing it to hit a roof and come right back to the plate — smacking him in the head. It was unlikely, and beautiful.

The bonk is winning the team’s Twitter vote for top Nick moment, 87-13, at the time of writing, proving that traditional heroics are nothing compared to a good goofy moment.
