UFC on Fox 25 live stream: How to watch Weidman vs. Gastelum online

0

Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum will face off in the main event of UFC on Fox 25. We have all you need to know to watch the action on Saturday.

Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman will try and work his way back to the title picture, but first he has to get through Kelvin Gastelum in the main event of UFC on Fox: Weidman vs. Gastelum on Saturday.

The event is free, televised on Fox with a main card at 8 p.m. ET and prelims at 6 p.m. Live streaming begins with the UFC Fight Pass prelims beginning at 4 p.m. Fox Sports GO, UFC.TV, and the UFC YouTube channel are all outlets for live streaming Saturday’s card via web browser or other connected devices.

Weidman won the middleweight title in 2013 when he knocked out Anderson Silva, and then went on to defend his title against Silva, Lyoto Machida, and Vitor Belfort. The knockout win over Belfort in 2015 was his last win, and he’s suffered three straight losses since then.

All of those losses have been by knockout. Gastelum has also beaten Belfort via knockout, though his fight was overturned due to a positive drug test for marijuana. Gastelum also beat Johny Hendricks and Tim Kennedy before that, so he’s in much better shape than Weidman, the higher-profile fighter.

Darren Elkins has won his last four fights and will face Dennis Bermudez in the co-feature on the card. Elkins last loss to Hacran Dias in 2014, but has three unanimous decisions and a knockout in his last fight. Bermudez had won his last two fights before a knockout loss to Chan Sung Jung in his last outing in February.

Bermudez and Elkins are both journeymen, but a win for either, especially Elkins, on Saturday would be huge given the placement on the card.

Patrick Cummins is 9-4 as a pro and will take on Gian Villante in a light heavyweight matchup on the main card. Cummins needs more wins or he could find himself out of the UFC. Villante is coming off a loss to Mauricio Rua, and is 15-8 as a professional.

Jimmie Rivera will face Thomas Almeida in a bantamweight fight to open the main card. Names like Alex Oliveira, Rafael Natal, and Marlon Vera will all be fighting on the preliminary card, and the full card is definitely worth checking out.

Below is the live streaming and television information as well as the full fight card for Saturday.
