Good morning, Mets fans!
Happy Opening Day! The moment we’ve been waiting for since October is here. New York Mets baseball is back.
The newly acquired Freddy Peralta will be on the mound against NL Cy Young Award winner Paul Skenes in Queens, with a 1:15 p.m. start time. Mets fans will be seeing a completely overhauled lineup and new-look Mets all across the diamond, starting with big free agent acquisition Bo Bichette and rounding out with Carson Benge who will make his major league debut.

Former Met Anthony Nunez, who was part of the Cedric Mullins trade, has made the Orioles’ Opening Day roster. Nunez had two separate stints in college baseball, in his winding road to the big leagues.
