Junk5 Elements A and Hanasaki5 win Baseball5 National Titles in Japan

Junk5 Elements A defeated the defending champions, 5Stars (Kazo, Saitama Prefecture), on home turf at Yokohama Budokan to win the Open Division of the III Samurai Japan Challenge Cup, the Japanese Baseball5 National Championship.

Junk5 dominated the final, winning the first set 8-0 and the second 3-1.

Junk5 Elements A also swept the MVP Awards. Shoki Akazuma earned the men's honours, while Riko Adachi gained the women's award.

First-year team Hanasaki5 defeated Yokohama Hayato Clovers, 2-1 (4-3, 1-2, 5-4) and claimed the Youth Title. Hanasaki represented Kazo City in the Saitame Prefecture.

Keitaro Iwamura (Hanasaki5) won the men's MVP Award, while Ririka Takagi (Yokohama Hayato Clovers) earned the women's MVP honours.
