Media accreditation open for 2026 World Baseball Classic

The accreditation process for the 2026 World Baseball Classic is now open.

Media outlets willing to cover games taking place in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Houston, Texas; and Miami, Florida must submit their application online by Friday, February 20, through this portal.

Media outlets that have not previously applied online for MLB credentials must contact the MLB Communications Department via e-mail at credentials[at]mlb.com to gain access to the credentialing system.

Media outlets willing to cover the games taking place in Tokyo, Japan, will have to apply online by Thursday, February 19, through this portal.

World Baseball Classic Inc informed that no applications will be accepted after the deadlines.

The online forms will be the only acceptable applications for 2026 World Baseball Classic media credentials. No other applications or requests will be processed.

Applications must be completed by the Sports Editor or the Sports Director. All completed applications must include a 1" x 1" high-resolution photo (JPEG format) and a valid e-mail address for each applicant.
