The 2025 World Series, containing an international team in the Toronto Blue Jays and star foreign players, unsurprisingly did record numbers internationally. Game 7 ended up averaging 51 million total viewers in the United States, Canada and Japan, becoming the most viewed MLB game in 34 years. The impact of MLB’s foreign expansion, especially into Asia, continues to pay dividends for viewership numbers.
