Mets Announce 2026 Spring Training Schedule

The New York Mets have announced their 2026 spring training schedule. Their Grapefruit League season kicks off with the Miami Marlins in Port St. Lucie on Feb. 21. The following day is their first road game in Tampa against the New York Yankees.

With the 2026 World Baseball Classic kicking off in March, the Mets will host two exhibitions at Clover Park. On March 3, Team Nicaragua will play in Port St. Lucie and on March 4, Team Israel will play the Mets.

The Spring Breakout Game is returning for its third season. After playing on the road last year, the Mets’ prospects will host the Tampa Bay Rays’ prospects on March 19.

The Mets final spring game of the 2026 schedule comes on March 22 against the Marlins in Jupiter. The regular season opens for the Mets on March 26 at home with Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates coming to town.
