WBSC Americas confirms Dominican Republic and Nicaragua in WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2026
WBSC Americas announced that World No. 12 Dominican Republic and No. 16 Nicaragua joined No. 3 USA, No. 5 Venezuela and No. 9 Cuba, completing the set of five National Teams representing the Americas in the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2026.
The Dominican Republic finished second behind Cuba in the Caribbean Qualifier, while Nicaragua finished second behind the USA in the North and Central American Qualifier. Both tournaments were played in September.
Venezuela won the South American Qualifier in August.
Nine teams have qualified for the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2026.
No. 17 Germany and No. 15 Czechia qualified through the European Championship in July.
No. 2 Chinese Taipei and No. 1 Japan qualified through the XII BFA U-15 Asian Championship in August.
WBSC Oceania and WBSC Africa will qualify one team each. The 12th participant will be a Wild Card awarded by the WBSC.
