Synergy Sports donates Development Fund to WBSC Legacy Club, WBSC Africa and Softball Asia

WBSC partner Synergy Sports made a Development Donation to support the WBSC Legacy Club's Refugee Project, Baseball, Softball and Baseball5 development in Africa and Asia.

Assistant Director, International Baseball/Softball-Synergy Sports, Hide Sueyoshi, delivered the symbolic cheque to WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari, WBSC Africa President Albert Frimpong and Softball Asia President Beng Choo Low.

"Grateful for the kind support from our partner Synergy," said WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari. "Together, we’re building a stronger global baseball and softball community. The entire sports family can enjoy the benefits of this fruitful working relationship with Synergy Sports."

The WBSC and Synergy Sports announced in 2021 a technology partnership to bring Synergy’s suite of proprietary coaching and scouting video and data analytics services to the WBSC’s events, including the flagship Premier12 and the Baseball and Softball World Cups.

Over time, the collaboration has expanded to WBSC Continental Associations, including a WBSC Europe partnership announced in 2022.

In 2024, the WBSC and Sportradar’s Synergy Sports have extended their official partnership for five years and until the end of 2028.
