Uche Odozor elected WBSC Africa President
Uche Odozor is the new WBSC Africa President after the Continental Association held elections during its own Congress on the eve of the WBSC Congress at the Grand Fourwings Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
Odozor is a former baseball pitcher. He played for the Stallions Baseball Club in Lagos and the Randburg Mets in Johannesburg. He is also the founder of Diplomatic Dodgers Baseball and Softball Club in Abuja.
A financial consultant and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the banking and financial advisory sector, Odozor has a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He has worked with top institutions such as Old Mutual South Africa, Standard Bank SA, and Nedbank.
As the CEO of Aviation Support Services and The Diplomatic Village, He continues to drive innovation and leadership in various industries.

The WBSC Africa Congress also elected an eight-member Executive Board.
Luiz Nunes (Cape Verde) is the new Secretary General.
The two Vice Presidents are Marc Moreau (South Africa, Baseball) and Mashilo Matsetela (South Africa, Softball).
The Members at Large for Baseball are Zerbo Dramane (Burkina Faso) and Edmund Kwesi-Ackom (Ghana).
The Members at Large for Softball are Katiholo Mosimanegape (Botswana) abd Linda Carole Yadi Dehoule (Ivory Coast).
The Congress also elected two Continental Representatives to the WBSC Executive Board, Saber Jlajla (Tunisia, Baseball) and Tirelo Mukokomani (Botswana, Softball).
