Morning Briefing: Dodgers Advance to NLDS
Good morning, Mets fans! The first three Wild Card series were pushed to a decisive game three entering the nightcap on Wednesday. However, Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Dodgers put a halt to that trend by taking care of business against the Reds in Game 2. Despite the Reds taking a quick 2-0 lead in the first inning, the Dodgers snapped back to take a three-run lead and blew the lid off the eventual clinching game with a four-run sixth inning.
The Dodgers will now head to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies for Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS, which will start on Saturday with Shohei Ohtani on the mound for Los Angeles.
