Tickets for Baseball/Softball at LA28 Olympics to go on sale in 2026

The LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games today announced details for its Official LA28 Ticketing and Hospitality Programmes, setting the stage for fans around the world to take part in the once-in-a-generation celebration in Los Angeles in 2028. 

Registration for Olympic Games tickets will begin in January 2026 on la28.org. Tickets will be managed by LA28’s Official Ticketing Service Provider AXS AND EVENTIM, with hospitality experiences and packages offered by On Location, the Official and Exclusive Hospitality Provider for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.  

“The LA28 Games will be an opportunity to purchase a ticket to history,” said Reynold Hoover, CEO for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. “Whether you’re a local family attending your first Olympic or Paralympic event or a global traveler joining us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, there really will be something for everyone across our suite of ticket options and hospitality packages.”  

Starting in 2026, fans will have access to a wide variety of options. Single tickets for the Olympic and Paralympic Games will start at $28, with early access to tickets for locals around Games venue cities. To purchase tickets, a general registration period will open in January 2026. In addition to several purchase options for individual tickets, curated ticket-inclusive hospitality experiences and packages will be revealed and on sale to the general public in 2026. More information on tickets, hospitality packages and the registration and ticket draw process will be shared later this year. Ticket access will be determined through a draw process that assigns purchase time slots for ticket drops beginning in 2026. 

The Baseball competition will run from 15 to 20 July 2028, with a total of 12 games being played at iconic Dodgers Stadium. 

The Preliminary Round will take place over three days, with two games per day at 11:00 and 19:00 (local time). The top team from each group will advance directly to the semifinals, while the second- and third-place teams (A2 v B3, A3 v B2) will meet in the two quarterfinal games on 18 July to determine the remaining semifinalists.

The semifinals will be held on 19 July, followed by the bronze and gold medal games on 20 July, at 11:00 and 19:00, respectively, to determine the seventh Olympic baseball champion.

The Softball event features 17 games from 23 to 29 July at OKC Softball Park in Oklahoma City. 

The tournament will start with a full round-robin Preliminary Round from 23 to 27 July, with three matches scheduled each day at 09:00, 16:00 and 20:00. The bronze medal game is set for 28 July at 19:00, followed by the gold medal game at 12:00 on 29 July – which will determine the 6th Olympic softball champion - one day before the Closing Ceremony of the Olympic Games LA28.
