WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup Super Round and Placement Round to open on Thursday, September 11

The Super Round of the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup 2025, presented by RAXUS, will commence at Okinawa Cellular Stadium in Naha, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, on Thursday, September 11, at 10:30 with a game between the third-place finishers of the two groups, Panama and Puerto Rico.

The Okinawa Cellular Stadium will host six of the nine games. Korea will play all their games at night at Nishizaki Stadium in Itoman.

Japan and the USA will start the Super Round with a 2-0 record. Korea and Chinese Taipei will begin from 1-1. Panama and Puerto Rico are 0-2.

The first and second-place finishers of the Super Round will compete in the World Championship Final on Sunday, August 14, at 4:00 p.m. (local time).
The bronze medal game between the third and fourth-place finishers will precede the Final at 11:00 (local time).

The Placement Round will open at Nishizaki Stadium at 10:30 (local time) with a game between the sixth place finishers of the two groups, China and South Africa. Germany and Italy will follow at 14:30 and Australia and Cuba will play at the same time at Cellular Stadium. Nishizaki Stadium will host six of the nine games.

Cuba and Germany will start the Placement round with a 2-0 record. Italy and Australia are 1-1, and China and South Africa are 0-2.
