Pippa Passes Fire Chief Named Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year

The Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs held their 2025 Leadership Conference in Bowling Green, KY last week. The annual conference serves as a training and networking opportunity for fire chiefs across the state with a goal to improve fire service.

During the conference, the Kentucky Association of Fire Chiefs celebrated leadership among the group of over 100 fire chiefs. The Association named Pippa Passes Fire Rescue Chief Eddie Scarberry the 2025 Volunteer Fire Chief of the Year.

Chief Scarberry has given his leadership to Pippa Passes Fire Rescue since 2023. In addition to volunteering as fire chief, Mr. Scarberry serves Alice Lloyd College as Director of Information Technology.
