European Championship to qualify one team for WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage 2026

Four European National Teams will compete for one spot in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage 2026 from August 14 to 17 in the Women's Baseball European Championship hosted by Czechia in Hluboka.

World No. 15 France, No. 22 Czechia, No. 24 Netherlands and No. 28 Great Britain will compete in a three-day round robin. The first and second-place finishers will play for the title and the sole spot in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage on August 17.

France are the two-time defending champions. They outscored Czechia in the final to win the 2022 edition on home soil in Montpellier before going onto represent Europe in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Group B in 2023.

The Netherlands are the only other European programme to have previously competed in the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup having featured in four editions. Sixth place (in 2008 in Japan and 2016 in Korea) is their best finish.
