Manager Anderson Hernandez announces Dominican Republic roster for WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup

The Dominican Baseball Federation (FEDOBE) announced that Anderson Hernandez will manage the Dominican Republic National Team at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS.

"He has plenty of experience in this age bracket," commented FEDOM President Juan Núñez Nepomuceno. "We are proud to have such a professional lead our U-12 National Team, and we are confident we will improve from the past. We will travel to Tainan to become World Champions."

Hernandez announced his final cut of 18 players: Ángel Reinieri Vásquez Díaz, Luis Daniel Paniagua, Elvin Mercedes Rivera, Craifer Esmailin Montero Contreras, Marvin Alexander Rodríguez Medina, Albert Junior Pérez Fransua. Erick Emanuel Claudio Peña, Luis Alberto Sánchez Urbaez, Jean Carlos Cruz Díaz, Yosuel Kelly Barett, Luis Manuel Parra Rosario, Yostin Gómez Durán, Jadiel Augusto Zayas Vargas, Dileccio Junior Pérez Minier, Johan Sebastian Yan Gil, Bryan Stif Zapata Pérez, Carlos José Rodríguez Mateo and Yeison Manuel De los Santos Castillo.

The coaching staff will include Cristopher Ynoa, Luis Rafael Ledesma, and Amauris Batista.

The Dominican team will travel to New York (USA) on Friday, July 18, for some warm up games against Astor Baseball, a team based in the Bronx. The delegation will leave for Tainan on Wednesday, July 23.

WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup presented by RAXUS Schedule

The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association will host the VIII WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup in Tainan from July 25 to August 3.

World No. 11 Dominican Republic will compete in Group B and face No. 5 USA, No. 6 Korea, No. 8 Panama, No. 15 Czechia and No. 31 South Africa.

Group A will include No. 1 Japan, No. 2 Chinese Taipei, No. 4 Mexico, No. 10 Cuba, No. 12 Australia and No. 17 Germany.
