2025 Futures Game: Open Game Thread

A trio of Mariners prospects head to Georgia to show their stuff

Today’s delayed Mariners game is very annoying because it has run right into the Futures Game, which is starting right now on MLB Network (or MLB TV). Three Mariners are taking part in the game: C Harry Ford, making his third Futures Game, OF Lazaro Montes, and switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje. Ford will start the game behind the dish, and Montes and Cijntje will appear as reserves. Lefty Parker Messick of the Guardians will start the game for the AL and will be throwing to Ford.

There will also be a former Mariner prospect who will appear in the game: RHP Brody Hopkins, who was dealt to the Rays in the Randy Arozarena deal as a secondary piece, will make his first Futures Game appearance.
