Guardians 6, White Sox 2: Welcome Back Kyle

The Guardians got a much needed win today

I know it wasn’t Kyle Manzardo’s first game back from the Family Medical Emergency List, but it was a much better game today than it was yesterday. Manzardo went 1-2 with a BB and a home run. José Ramírez and Carlos Santana also had good games, going a combined 3-6 with 3 BBs and 2 RBIs. Steven Kwan also went 1-4 with 2 RBIs.

Tanner Bibee had a solid outing, he tossed 5.2 innings and allowed two runs on six hits, five strikeouts, and two walks. His ERA is down to 4.29 on the season. Erik Sabrowksi was severely missed in this bullpen, he looked incredible today, pitching 1.1 innings and striking out every batter he faced.

Overall it was a solid win for the Guardians. We have one more game until the All-Star break, it’ll be Joey Cantillo vs old friend Aaron Civale at 2:10 pm ET.
