Stat categories where the Colorado Rockies rank last
A Friday List
The Cincinnati Reds finally found their footing against the Miami Marlins and claimed the final pair of games of that series. In doing so they moved to 48-46 on the season, and while they’re still buried in the National League’s Central division (7.5 games back, 4th place), they do only sit 3 games back of the final Wild Card spot.
They also welcome the Colorado Rockies to GABP to finish the season’s first ‘half,’ and the Rockies are currently pacing to be one of the absolute worst baseball teams of all time.
It’s Friday, and around these parts we often list on Fridays. To put the pressure on the Reds to take care of business this weekend, here is a list of statistical categories in which the Colorado Rockies rank dead last in all of Major League Baseball so far in 2025.

I’m sure I have overlooked a few.
I’m also well aware that there are a couple dozen other pertinent metrics in which they rank 29th, 28th, and 27th among the 30 MLB clubs (with the Chicago White Sox usually one of the only teams ranking below them).
This is a bad, bad Rockies club, and the Reds really, truly need to breeze right through them this series and head into the All-Star break a full 5 games over .500.
I’m sure the baseball gods will intervene and cause a ruckus this series, but if this team is going to not only present itself as a contender but also be positioned well enough heading into the trade deadline for their ownership group to sign off on additions, this is a pivotal series for them to pile up the wins.
First pitch Friday is set for 7:10 PM ET with Chase Burns on the bump. Go get ‘em, Redlegs.
