Phillies Injury Updates
- Aaron Nola (stress fracture in right rib)
- Status: 60-day injured list
- Aaron Nola’s puzzling stint on the injured list continues. After originally being sidelined with a sprained right ankle in May, Nola now has a stress fracture on the right side of his ribcage, the pitcher clarified. Phillies manager Rob Thomson initially announced the injury as a stress reaction.
- Nola could throw his first bullpen session since he was shut down from throwing during the Fourth of July weekend series against the Reds. He could be back in the Phillies rotation sometime in August. – Last updated on July 2 by Destiny Lugardo
