Germany announce roster for WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS

The roster of Germany for the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS has been announced. The team of manager Dominik Buder features 18 players, including three players who are returning from last year - Mona Brauch, Felix Kaneko and Milos Schumacher.

While Brauch is the only female athlete on the team, the squad also features twins Luis and Ben Schlöffel.

Currently Germany is competing in the U-12 Baseball European Championship in Hluboka, Czechia. In comparison to that event there will be only one change on the team with Dexter Slaton taking the spot of Lukas Schober for the World Cup.

Germany’s U-12 program was established for the U-12 Baseball European Championship in Trebic, Czechia in 2016. Since then, Germany has won four of the seven U-12 Baseball European Championships played and not finished outside of the top four. They qualified for the World Cup by winning last year’s European Championship, which was played in Paderborn, Germany.

The participation at the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup 2025 presented by RAXUS in Tainan will be the third for Germany. The world No. 17 finished in ninth place in 2023 and 12th in 2017.

Outside of the current European Championship, Germany held a couple training camps in preparation for the World Cup and is looking to improve from their previous results.

Roster: Mona Duja Brauch, Jona Butt, William Andrew Crofton, Erik Hedtler, Moritz Steffen Holzhey, Felix Cornelius Kaneko, Artin Krischok, Tim Krüger, Thore Penke, Jonah Rousseau, Ben Jan-Lars Schlöffel, Luis Johannes Schlöffel, Milos Schumacher, Dexter Timo Slaton, Tim Strobel, Noah Yang, Sam Attridge, Azuma Awokou

Coaching Staff: Dominik Buder, Henry Matzpreiksch, Kevin van Meensel, Heiko Schumacher
