Mets, Brewers Postponed; Doubleheader Set for Wednesday
The Mets have postponed their Tuesday night matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers. They will play a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 2.
The doubleheader is planned to be a split affair, with the first game at 1:10 p.m. and second to start at its regularly scheduled 7:10 p.m. time.
The team postponed the game ahead of inclement weather expected Tuesday night in the Northeast. The Phillies and Nationals have also postponed their matchups for Tuesday night.
Presumably, the Mets will have Clay Holmes and Blade Tidwell pitch Wednesday. The Brewers have Frankie Montas and rookie flamethrower Jacob Misiorowski lined up.
Fans with tickets to tonight’s game who don’t attend the makeup game tomorrow can exchange tickets for a home game at a later date (with some restrictions).
More details to come as the team provides them.
