Mariners Game #83 Preview: 6/29 at Texas
From Rocker to The Rock
A ten-game trip to the Central Time Zone comes to an end today with Luis Castillo facing off against Jack Leiter at the Home Depot masquerading as a ballpark in Arlington. The Mariners offense has swung wildly between hot and cold on this trip, but today has the potential to be a hot day. When they faced Leiter in early May, they stomped all over him for six runs over 4.1 innings. Cal Raleigh went yard against him twice, which Leiter probably felt kind of bad about at the time but can shrug off at this point as just being what happens when you have to face Cal Raleigh.
Lineups
Mitch Garver is back behind the dish after taking one on the chin on Thursday, which means that Cal will DH. That, in turn, means that Jorge Polanco gets a second day off in a row, but other than that, it’s a pretty standard lineup on both sides.
