Mets Minors: Vientos, Raley Make First Rehab Appearances

After injuring his hamstring while running out of the box against the Dodgers on June 2, Mark Vientos returned to action on Tuesday as the starting DH for the Syracuse Mets. Jett Williams continued his scorching start to the summer, raising his season OPS to .944. Brooks Raley tossed a scoreless inning for St. Lucie in his return.

Right-hander Julan Merryweather made his Mets system debut with 1 1/3 scoreless with one strikeout.

Brooks Raley made his return to a professional mound for the first time in over a year after recovering from Tommy John surgery. Mets President of Baseball Operations, David Stearns, said last week that Raley will complete an extensive rehab assignment due to the nature of his injury and time off.

DSL Mets Blue lost 8-7, and DSL Mets Orange won 10-2. Yovanny Rodriguez has opened his 2025 season with hits in all three of his games.
