Mets Minors Recap: Jett Williams Leaves Game after HBP

A concerning scene in Binghamton Friday night, where Jett Williams was hit in the helmet by a 98 mph fastball. The organization’s top hitting prospect walked off the field under his own power. Williams is having a bounce-back season for the Rumble Ponies, slashing .277/.381/.446 with four home runs and 17 steals after scuffling through an injury-plagued 2024. He was selected in the first round (14th overall) of the 2022 draft.
