33-year-old veteran, Jon Singleton, led the way for the Mets, driving in three runs and raising his season OPS to an impressive .833. Luke Ritter, who struggled mightily to begin the season, had two hits and drove in a pair. Lastly, Ronny Mauricio, who is rehabbing from his knee injury, reached base twice, maintaining an absurd 1.421 Triple-A OPS.

The Mets’ No. 1 pitching prospect to begin the year struggled with command Saturday, walking five batters. He did limit that damage, by only allowing two runs which lowered his hefty Triple-A ERA to 6.02. High-A

Brooklyn Cyclones (35-15) 5, Aberdeen IronBirds (19-31) 4

Box Score

The Brooklyn offense continued their magic on Saturday, as they tied the game with two in the eighth inning before catcher Ronald Hernandez walked it off via a solo home run in the ninth. A.J. Ewing led the Cyclones with three hits, and also stole three bases, increasing his season total between St. Lucie (Single-A) and Brooklyn to a massive 37.

  • RHP Raimon Gomez: 0.2 IP, 1 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 1 SO (11.81 ERA)

Former 2023 seventh-round pick, Noah Hall, did well in not allowing a run across four innings. However, the 24-year-old walked five, which shortened his day to only four innings. Flamethrower Raimon Gomez, who recorded a 104.5 mph pitch earlier in the season, has struggled since his promotion to Brooklyn, as he allowed two runs in less than an inning. This increased his High-A ERA to 11.81 across 5 1/3 innings.
