Canada reveal roster for WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup

Softball Canada unveiled the roster to compete in the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup, scheduled from 27 June to 5 July in Carono Pertusella and Legnano, Italy. This will be Canada's first appearance in the World Cup after missing the inaugural edition in 2023.

Canada qualified for the World Cup claiming fourth place at the Pan American Championship, played in Acapulco, Mexico, earlier this year. This was the first ever Canadian team to play internationally in this age bracket.

A total of 10 players in the World Cup roster competed in March's qualifier, including Chapman, Clegg, Girling, Howard, A. Hunter, Kobasew, Macdonald, Mcisaac, Newman and Tan.

World No. 6 Canada has been drawn in Group B of the World Cup, along with No 1. USA, No. 4 Chinese Taipei, No. 8 Czechia, No. 10 Australia and No. 39 Singapore.
