Morning Briefing: Paul Blackburn Makes Rehab Start
Good morning, Mets fans!
On Friday, the Mets announced that Paul Blackburn would begin a rehab assignment with High-A Brooklyn. Blackburn made that start Friday night, and he allowed two runs in three innings while striking out six batters. Blackburn has yet to appear in a major league game this year but he’s on his way, and he will certainly be counted on for innings either as a sixth starter or bulk man upon his return.
