Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Darrion Wesley, Los Altos baseball
Los Altos baseball player Darrion Wesley is the Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week for April 21-26.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Wesley had 30.10% of the vote to finish ahead of De La Salle baseball player Roman Bartosh, who was second at 28.50%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Wesley’s two-run single in the top of the fifth inning helped lift Los Altos to a 4-3 victory on the road over Bellarmine in non-league play.
