Mets Minors Thread: Sproat, Allan on the Mound
The big club has the day off, but all four of the Mets’ full-season minor league affiliates play Thursday evening. The Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies already played two games on Thursday, taking both ends of the doubleheader in New Hampshire.
In game 1, Nick Morabito, Ryan Clifford and Kevin Parada homered, while Joander Suarez tossed 5 1/3 innings of scoreless ball. In game 2, catcher Matt O’Neill hit a three-run homer and Felipe De La Cruz struck out seven over 4 1/3 innings of one-run ball.
