In 2024, the WBSC HUGAN ePremier12 2024 brought players from Japan, Chinese Taipei and Mexico to the Super Round and Championship Game, which was held at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. The WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2023 World Finals, held in Lausanne, Switzerland in March 2024, also included players from Japan, Chinese Taipei and the United States.

With the confirmation of these tournaments, the total number of online qualifier tournaments for National Federations grows to 13 in the WBSC eBaseball™ Series 2025, joining the Hong Kong, China Open, Lithuanian Open, Italian Open, Dutch Open, Swiss Open, French Open, Argentine Open, Indian Open, and the Women’s Qualifier.

Additionally, the Global Qualifier, taking place from 15-21 September will serve as the last chance for anyone to secure a spot in the World Finals with no regional restrictions. Furthermore, the WBSC and Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. may award wild cards where necessary to complete or enhance the line-up of players at the World Finals.

Top players from each of the online National Federation tournaments will advance either to a national final or directly to the World Finals. The World Finals will consist of up to 16 players, which include the quota reserved to each individual National Federation qualifying tournament, the top ranked of the Global Qualifier, the winner of the Women’s Qualifier, and any Wild Cards to be determined by the WBSC.

The dates, location, and structure of the World Finals will be announced at later stage.
