Morning Briefing: Mets Play in 63rd Ballpark in 64 Seasons
Good morning, Mets fans!
With their game at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento on Friday, the Mets have now played a major league game in their 63rd different stadium in the team’s 64-year history.
The Mets enjoyed their first visit to the ballpark, putting together a 7-6 win in which Pete Alonso went 3-for-3 with a home run. The Mets will play two more games at Sutter Health Park on Saturday and Sunday.
