Game #3: Athletics vs Mariners Game Thread
Bido takes the mound for the A’s
Fresh off a dominant pitching performance and some clutch and timely hitting, the Athletics take on the Seattle Mariners in game three of a four game series at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park. Friday’s game was one of more than a few firsts:
· The A’s first win of 2025.
· Jeffrey Springs’ first win in an A’s uniform.
· Brent Rooker’s first bomb of the season; and
· Max Muncy’s first major league hit, homer and RBI!
But enough about the past, A’s skipper Mark Kotsay will send 29-year-old righty Osvaldo Bido to the mound tonight. Bido made nine starts (sixteen total appearances) and logged a 5-3 record with a 3.41 ERA and 63 Ks in 63.1 innings. He’ll go up against 26-year-old righty Bryce Miller for the Mariners. Miller had an outstanding sophomore season going 12-8 with a 2.98 ERA in thirty-one starts. He struck out 171 in 180.1 total innings.
Miller will face the following lineup for the A’s tonight:
