Turkish Baseball & Softball Federation holds softball coaching seminar in Ankara

The Turkish Baseball and Softball Federation organised a four-day softball coaching seminar in Ankara to enhance coaches' skills through both theoretical and practical training. Held from 1 to 4 February, the clinic awarded national certification to participants.

The Level 3 Course, attended by 15 coaches and taught by Argentinean coach Guillermo Spotorno, covered rule interpretation, game management, and practice sessions with simulated game situations, keeping participants highly engaged.. 

Türkiye is currently No. 51 in the WBSC Women's Softball World Ranking with 70 points. They finished 21st in the Women's Softball European Championship 2022 and 11th in the U-15 Women's Softball European Championship 2024.

Looking ahead, the National Federation plans to monitor the attendees' performance, particularly in upcoming national tournaments, and organise follow-up courses within the next six months to continue enhancing this group of coaches.
