Fan Poll: Which member of the Daycare will have the best season?

0 2
It’s a big year for all three members of the Daycare. (Grace Del Pizzo/Phillies Nation)

The Daycare is getting older.

Alec Bohm, Bryson Stott and Brandon Marsh are all coming off interesting 2024 seasons. Bohm was an All-Star, but faded partly due to injuries. Stott, a Gold Glove finalist, had a bad year at the plate as he played through an elbow injury. Marsh also finished as a Gold Glove finalist, but saw his numbers in the batter’s box go down after a solid year in 2023.

All three players are at least 27 years old and are arbitration eligible. They are affectionately known as “The Daycare” by some fans after it was revealed in 2022 that hitting coach Kevin Long referred to the younger players on the roster by the nickname. It stuck because the younger players were taking off following Rob Thomson’s appointment as manager and fans grew attached to Bohm and Stott, and then Marsh when he was acquired via trade.

All three have a lot to prove in 2025. Bohm, who was the subject of trade rumors early in the offseason, has to prove that he is closer to the player he was in April and May of 2024 and not the one that finished the year. Stott needs to have a significantly better season at the plate. Marsh needs to cut down on swing-and-miss and prove to the team that he is more than just a platoon bat.

Improvements out of all three players would go a long way for the Phillies as they look to win a second-straight NL East and win a World Series.

Out of the three, who do you think will have the best season. Vote now in our Phillies Nation fan poll down below.
