Morning Briefing: Christian Scott Progressing From Tommy John

0 2

Good morning, Mets fans!

On Wednesday, Mets sophomore pitcher Christian Scott talked to reporters in Port St. Lucie as pitchers and catchers are due to report soon. The right-handed pitcher made nine big league starts in his rookie season before undergoing Tommy John surgery in September, effectively ending his season. When asked about his progress, he told reporters, “Feel like my arm’s in a good spot… I’ll start throwing in about a month from now.” While Scott is slated to miss the whole 2025 campaign as well, it does seem like he is moving in the right direction for a full recovery by the 2026 season.
