Guardians News and Notes - More Projections, More Disrespect

FanGraphs has taken the honors of stoking the pre-Spring Training hate fire that is fueled by off-season disrespect for our beloved Cleveland Guardians. FanGraphs released their playoff and standings projections for the 2025 season. The AL Central is projected as follows (projected records are rounded for simplicity):
- Minnesota Twins - 84-78
- Detroit Tigers - 83-79
- Kansas City Royals - 82-80
- Cleveland Guardians - 78-84
- Chicago White Sox - 62-100
In other news - Harrison Bader signed with the Twins.
Ben Gamel signed with the Astros.
Pete Alonso has signed with the Mets. At the time of writing the deal, pending physical, is for $54 million for two years with an opt-out after the first year.
