Ramón Laureano managed to find the one entity in the DMV area that’s adding employees. The Let’s Go Former Tribe(/Guard) outfielder signed a 1-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles yesterday that will pay him four million dollars. That’s pretty good money for a guy 9 months removed from being released by the Guardians.

Other teams seem to think his bat still plays. It did in his 67 games with the Braves last season. It sure didn’t in his 31 with the Guardians. Big difference in hitting instruction reputation between the two clubs! The Orioles hope their reputation for having a solid offense will garner numbers closer to the ATL ones than the CLE ones.

Randal Grichuk signed with the D-Backs. What, were you expecting something else?

And the Dodgers sent Ryan Brasier to the Cubs for a PTBNL.
