Puerto Rico Double-A League 2025 to open on March 2

The Puerto Rico Baseball Federation (FBPR) announced that the 2025 Double-A League will open on March 3. The Florida Titanes won the 2024 edition and will host the Barceloneta Industriales for the opening game at Rafael Fello Marrero Stadium. Each team will compete in a 20-game regular season.

The 2025 Double-A season will be dedicated to former Titanes president Leonardo Valentín.

The 2024-2025 Youth League is currently playing the semifinal round robin known as Carnival of Champions.

After the completion of the 2024 Double-A league, the Arecibo Lobas won the XV Women's Softball League. Cidra Tornados won the third edition of the U-12 league.

More recently, the Ponce Cachorros won the third edition of the 37-team U-15 league. They defeated Vega Baja Correcaminos in the final (7-5, 7-6). Ponce succeeds Vega Alta Maceteros. Florida Titanes won the inaugural edition.

Puerto Rico also launched a Middlle School league. Cidra won the final against Vega Alta.

The maiden edition involved 33 schools on the island.

FBPR also plans to launch a collegiate Summer League for 2025.
