Day three of the WBSC Baseball5 World Cup 2024 - taking place at the Central Harbourfront Event Space in Hong Kong, China - is the last day of the Opening Round. Defending champions Cuba have already booked a place in the Super Round with four wins from as many games, including Tuesday's thrilling 5-4, 3-2 win over Venezuela.

In Group A, 2022 bronze medallists Chinese Taipei; Venezuela; Hong Kong, China and European champions Lithuania are still in contention for the remaining two Super Round spots.

In Group B, all teams except winless Australia - Japan, France, Mexico, China and Tunisia - are in contention.
