News and Notes: Guardians Get Game One
News and Notes for Sunday, October 6th, 2024
The Guardians got to Tyler Holton, excellent lefty reliever for the Tigers, in the first inning and Lane Thomas hit a three-run homer off of Reese Olson, leading to a 7-0 shutout win also featuring excellent pitching from Tanner Bibee and the insane Cleveland bullpen.

The Royals lost to the Yankees. The Mets beat the Phillies. Padres and Dodgers is still in progress as I write this... but things look bad for San Diego currently.
