General ticket sales launched for WBSC Premier12 2024 games in Japan

After an exclusive pre-sale for Japan fans from 17 to 30 September, baseball enthusiasts around the world can now purchase their tickets for the WBSC Premier12 2024 presented by RAXUS games in Japan, including Group B's Opening Game on 13 November at Vantelin Dome Nagoya, the six Super Round games from 21 to 23 November and the medal games on 24 November, all of them at the iconic Tokyo Dome.

The continued popularity of the WBSC Premier12 and international baseball is clear with ticket sales in Japan trending impressively, with close to 50% of tickets already sold. The high demand tickets can be purchased online here.

The WBSC Premier12 2024 Group B will open in Nagoya city on 13 November with the game between Japan and Australia. The other 14 games of the group will be contested in Taipei City (tickets available here). Group B also features Cuba, Dominican Republic, Korea and Chinese Taipei. Group A will be played in Mexico, with the hosts joined by the Netherlands, Panama, Puerto Rico, USA and Venezuela. Group A tickets can be acquired here.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the Super Round in Tokyo, to be played from 21 to 23 November. The six-game Super Round schedule includes two games a day, at noon and 7pm (local time). Tickets are valid for the two games on that day. If Japan advance to the Super Round, they will be playing their three games at 7pm, using the first base dugout. 

The medal games will take place on November 24. The Bronze Medal Game between the third and fourth place finishers will start at noon; while the Final is scheduled for 7pm.

The Premier12, the WBSC's flagship event, is the most important baseball tournament of 2024. The 12 participants qualified through the WBSC/KONAMI World Rankings as at 31.12.2023.
