WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024 Where to Watch; Includes record number of domestic broadcasters

Baseball fans in China and around the world have plenty of options to watch the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024, which will take place at the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Culture Center from 6-15 September.

More than 20 channels, including seven international, two from Taiwan Territory and 12 domestic, will carry the games starting with the opening contests on 6 September with Australia playing Colombia and South Africa taking on Nicaragua until the World Championship game taking place on 15 September.

GameTime, the official streaming service of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC), will carry all fifty games (geo-blocking restrictions apply) while global broadcasters include Eclat/SpoTV in South Korea, Canal 4 in Nicaragua, TVC Deportes/Megacable in Mexico, SimpleTV in Venezuela, Wapa TV in Puerto Rico, Win Sports in Colombia and PTS/PTS + and Videoland in Taiwan Territory.

Game Time

In mainland China, Weifeng Baseball will also carry all fifty games on its TikTok platform, with the Weifeng B channel carrying all games from Field II and the Weifeng main channel carrying all games from Field I.

The Chinese Baseball Association streaming platformwill be among the streaming service providers, including Huya.com,Miguvideo.com, Weibo.com, Sina.com, Kuaishou.com, Tencent, Tianjin SportsChannel 5, and five channels from Shandong Television Station.

In promoting the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024, the first WBSC Baseball World Cup in mainland China, local broadcasters have actively participated in the broadcasting tasks and will carry all China games in the Opening Round.

In addition to the China games, Kuaishouwill also carry another 25 selected games.

Meanwhile, tickets for the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024, which includes players who potentially could feature at the Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028 in four years time, are proving very popular on the official ticketing service Damai.cn with the Day 1 game between China and Great Britain - featuring an historical first appearance for both teams in the WBSC U-23 Baseball World Cup - almost sold out while there are very few tickets left for the game between China and Japan.
