MLB to broadcast WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup final on its streaming platforms

<p>The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) granted Major League Baseball (MLB) the broadcast rights on its streaming platforms to the <a href="https://www.wbsc.org/en/events/2024-ix-womens-baseball-world-cup-finals/home">WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup Finals 2024 presented by CARNEXT</a> World Championship game live.</p>

<p>The game between the six-time defending champions, world No. 1 Japan and No. 3 USA, is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, at 15:00 (local time) in Thunder Bay, Canada. It will stream for free live on MLB.com, MLB.TV, and the MLB mobile app.</p>

<p>Japan has participated in all eight finals, earning a silver medal in 2004 and 2006. The US finished second in 2012 and 2014. The other finalists were Canada (2008, 2016), Australia (2010), and Chinese Taipei (2018).</p>
