A’s vs. Angels game thread

Second half starts now!

Back to it. After taking a few days off to rest and recover the Athletics begin the second half tonight by welcoming the Los Angeles Angels to town for a three-game set.

Tonight is extra special because we’re going to get our first look at top prospect Jacob Wilson, who will be making his major league debut batting eighth and playing shortstop. Here is how the rest of the lineup looks for tonight:

Taking the hill for the A’s tonight will be JP Sears, who will be making his 20th start of the season. His follow up campaign to last year hasn’t gone as smoothly as hoped but maybe tonight is where Sears can turn things around.
