• Daniel Kramer spoke to Mariners first-rounder Jurrangelo Cijntje, who has already agreed to a deal with the club pending a physical.
• Somehow I missed this from a month ago but this clip from Bill Krueger is fascinating and sheds some light on why exactly it’s difficult to hit at T-Mobile Park.

• Fittingly, Amanda Lane Cumming wrote a detailed history of the construction of Safeco Field/T-Mobile Park and the multitude of ways in which fans and players were deceived about what the park would be.
• This is so cool!

• Ingrid Andress — the singer who went viral for her substandard performance of the national anthem during the Home Run Derby broadcast — put forward a statement admitting she was intoxicated that night and is checking herself into rehab. We wish her the very best in her journey to recovery.
• Following a failed attempt by some members of the MLBPA to oust chief negotiator Bruce Meyer, Tony Clark says that union deliberations will take place internally moving forward.
• Players from around baseball weighed in on the A’s planned relocation to Las Vegas. Unsurprisingly, they’re not so high on it.
• Interesting...it feels like only a matter of time.
