Any user on a server that has a role with permissions to ban a user can do so by either going to their account menu and pressing Ban, right-click the user in the members menu and then pressing Ban, or by typing in a command to make a bot ban a user from the server. Users can also ban users that aren't in the server by typing in a ban command with their user ID and a bot would ban them.The length of server bans is under the discretion of the server moderators. Most of these bans are permanent but can sometimes be temporary. These bans are indefinite until lifted by a server moderator or bot.
