The Reds and Padres are locked in a heated battle at GABP!

Sorry, I forgot the game thread.

Frankie Montas was banged around for 9 hits and 4 earned runs in today’s start against the San Diego Padres, but he did manage to save the bullpen and get through 6 IP. Fortunately for the Cincinnati Reds, Nick Martini turned back into Good Nick Martini™ and socked a 2-run tater in the Bottom of the 6th inning to bring the score level at 4-4.

I forgot today was a day game and airballed on the Game Thread, so this is officially today’s Game Thread.

I will take the issue up with management, which is also me, and report back with the repercussions. As for now, enjoy the discussion for the final few innings here as I do my best to stretch this post past one-hundred and fifty total words so it’s more visible on search engines.
